When we were growing up in the beautiful hills of rural Connecticut, fields of wildflowers, rolling farmland, and quiet forests were our playground. We walked through a red covered bridge to meet the school bus each morning. Today we play in our studio overlooking the Blue Ridge Mountains of Asheville, North Carolina.
BLUE HILL Essentials™ embodies our passion for nature's beauty in all its forms. We take moist clay from deep within the earth, mixed right here in Asheville at Highwater Clays, to make our diffuser pendants. The pure scents of lavender, bergamot, or cedarwood fill the studio as we hand-pour our essentials oils and work on blends we hope will take you back to a sensory memory you love. Picking peppermint on our grandparents' farm for iced tea on a hot summer day, hiking under fragrant eucalyptus trees in Northern California, strolling through lavender fields as far away as France and as close as Celo, North Carolina, are some of our favorite scent memories. What are yours?
We're as passionate about protecting our natural environment as we are about celebrating it with our diffuser pendants and essential oils. Our sea turtle pendants and our bee pendants are symbols of causes that we support. Check out our blog to learn more about the important work being done to save these amazing creatures and some simple things you can do to help keep them around.
